Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and design-oriented front-end developer to join our team. You will work closely with the CEO, product designer, back end engineers to deliver exceptional web experiences across our user-facing and admin-facing platforms.

You will be responsible for translating UI/UX designs into functional, scalable, and responsive front-end code while helping us implement new features such as referral systems, social logins, gamified bidding experiences, and retail-facing dashboards.

In This Role You Will;

• Write clean, modular, and maintainable code using Angular 2+, HTML5, SCSS/SASS, and TypeScript.
• Translate UI/UX designs from Figma into dynamic and responsive interfaces.
• Integrate RESTful APIs to retrieve and display user and item data.
• Build features that support gamification elements (e.g., token usage, buzzing, bidding).
• Implement and maintain user authentication using social media platforms (Gmail, Meta, etc.).
• Enable sharing of item listings to social media platforms.
• Work on referral systems and track referral activity for user rewards.
• Debug and resolve UI issues across different devices and browsers.
• Contribute to admin dashboard improvements for better inventory and user management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile development environment.
• Use Git-based workflows for source control and code management.

To Succeed you:

• 4 - 5+ years of professional front-end development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Angular 2+ and TypeScript. However, knowledge of React is needed as we intend to rebuild the platform with React
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, SASS/SCSS, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Strong design intuition and experience working with Figma.
• Experience with the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express, Angular, Node.js).
• Experience with building responsive, accessible web apps.
• Deep understanding of cross-browser compatibility and performance optimization.
• Experience with social login implementation (Google, Facebook, etc.).
• Experience integrating social sharing tools (Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp).
• Proven experience with referral tracking or user-invite systems.
• Comfortable using Docker and deploying applications on Heroku or similar PaaS.
• Solid grasp of Git 
• Experience integrating payment gateways (GPay, Paystack, etc.)
• Experience designing or integrating user wallets.
• Experience with e-commerce or auction-based platforms, designing discount codes
• Working knowledge of WebSockets or Firebase for real-time data.
• Admin dashboard and CMS-style frontend design experience.
• Awareness of front-end security principles (XSS, CSRF, authentication).
• Familiarity with gamification design patterns.
• Accessibility and inclusive design best practices.

Bonus Points:

• Building platforms for low-bandwidth environments.
• Familiarity with Web3 integrations and blockchain wallet UI/UX. 
• Personal or freelance UI/UX work showcasing e-commerce, marketplace, or gaming mechanics.
